Even though reheating dinner has become a way of life today, some of the foods should not be meant to be reheated.
Whether it is Friday night or you have to clean your fridge, or if you just wish to turn on your leftovers into a new meal, the microwave is a handy kitchen appliance. But, several types of research have shown that reheating some of the foods can prove to be quite dangerous for the health.

Celery
Celery has a high content of nitrate and might become toxic when reheated. People generally use celery for preparing soups. Like spinach, celery contains nitrates which transform it into nitrates when reheated. When you make soup with celery you should either have the whole soup as soon as you can or you should just remove celery from the soup. The same thing is applicable for carrots.

Mushrooms
Ideally, mushrooms should be consumed the same day of preparing it due to the complex content of protein in it. The protein may deteriorate when cutting and this is not good for the belly. That is why before cooking them, just take an exact amount which you think would be enough for taming your hunger.
You should keep in mind that reheating the mushrooms poses a huge health risk. They should be consumed immediately once prepared or consumed cold. When you consume the reheated mushrooms, you put yourself at a huge risk of some severe health and heart issues.

Chicken Meat
Just like mushrooms, chicken meat also contains protein that is affected negatively by being reheated. The composition of protein in this dinner staple changes once cold. That’s why it should not be reheated because chicken comprises a lot more protein as compared to red meat. This may actually because a number of digestive troubles, so just in case if you like to reheat the meat, just make sure that it’s cooked thoroughly.
You should always keep in mind that chicken meat should be consumed cold. When there is an absolute need of reheating chicken, just make sure that it is done at a low temperature. Chicken meat may cause some serious digestive issues once reheated after one or two days of cooking. One of the best ways of consuming stored chicken is to put it in a cold sandwich or cold salad.

Just like various other leafy greens, this green leafy vegetable is also rich in nitrates and iron. When reheated, the nitrates may transform into nitrates and carcinogens.

Eggs are considered to be the morning staple and a protein powerhouse but they should not be re-heated again and again. Reheating them at a high temperature might make them toxic and cause havoc on your digestive tract.
So just keep in mind not to reheat any of the above-mentioned foods. Reheating them can cause problems to your health. Just refrain from reheating and eating them. Consume them as soon as you can.
