Fashion events often become the main headlines of the newspaper and TV. One of the most popular fashion events, India Couture Week 2018 has already begun. This event is organized by the FDCI at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. It will continue till 29th July 2018.
The fashion show will display some of the most exquisite outfits designed in embroideries by top 10 popular fashion designing icons. You will see the best collection of handcrafted charms.
Day 1- Collection of Tarun Tahiliani and Anju Modi
On 25th July, the first day of the show, two of the most famous fashion designers, Anju Modi and Tarun Tahiliani presented their designed outfits. Tarun Tahiliani presented his beautiful contemporary and traditional wears which stunned the audience.
The delicate yet gorgeous doll, Aditi Rao Hydari was the showstopper for Tarun Tahiliani. She looked ravishing with peach colored lehenga having embroidered flowers. A light yet attractive makeup enhanced her looks.
Lastly, Aditi wore a choker and a low bun just completed her stunning look. The reason for choosing peach color is well explained by Tarun Tahiliani that the color is unique from the normal red and maroon colors chosen by the brides in India.
The lehengas are made from beautiful fabrics such as tulle and georgette. Swarovski was the sponsor for the show.
Tarun had been working on the designing of light bridal and occasional wear since long.
The goal was to achieve a beautiful bridal wear which has lightweight and comfortable to wear in any occasion. At last, after several months of hard work and dedication, TarunTahiliani presented his elegant collection of couture.
Diva- Kangana Ranaut beautifies the show
On the other side, Anju Modi also came up with new ideas of traditional lehengas designed in decent English hues.
The amazing collection of bridal wear designed by Anju includes the theme of Victorian Era. Kangana Ranaut was the showstopper for Anju Modi.
Dressed in a maroon velvet jacket and cream lehenga, Kangana thrilled the hearts of the spectators. The dress had intricate floral embroidery with elegant beading work.
The sensational actor lets her curls turn in to half which looks aesthetic. The goal behind such lehengas is to bring a different and innovative wear for brides having amazing accents, beautiful textures, and stunning designs.
Anju Modi brought the ancient history in the present wear by using the fabrics such as silk, brocade, and velvet which were layered resulting into a gorgeous bridal wear. The collection of Anju Modi has silhouettes, A-Line outfits, circular skirts and fit fishtails.
Dates and events of India Couture Week 2018 (#ICW2018)
The second day of the event is going to be more interesting with the magnificent collection of Pallavi Jaikishan who will present her work at Shah Jehan Hall, Taj Palace.
In the second half, Falguni Shane Peacock will display her amazing collection of couture which is presented by Prakshi Fine Jewelry.
On Friday, July 27, 2018, Amit Aggarwal will shock the audience with his latest collection of bridal wear and couture at Shah Jehan Hall.
The show will be further led by Suneet Verma who will unveil his beautiful collection of couture presented by BMW at Durbar Hall.
On day 4, Saturday, July 28, 2018, the designer duo will reveal their bridal collection consisting of floral and timeless designs presented by RK jewelers at Shah Jehan Hall. The colors used in the couture are just vibrant and look flawless in any occasion.
The show will then be continued by Rahul Mishra who will put some unique ideas in the normal bridal wear. The event is taking place at Durbar Hall, Taj Palace.
On the last day of the show, Sunday, July 29, 2018, Reynu Taandon will showcase her attractive collection of couture and traditional bridal wear at Shah Jehan Hall which will be presented by Rajni Gandha Silver Pearls. The show will complete with Rohit Bal’s pretty couture collection.
