Ever since the dates of India Couture Week 2018 are announced, the fashion designers are busy in bringing the unique and aesthetic collection of bridal wear and couture. The event started on 25th July 2018 and with the grand opening of a bridal collection designed by Tarun Tahiliani and Anju Modi, Falguni Shane Peacock unveiled her royal couture collection on the 2nd day, 26thJuly 2018 at Taj Mahal Palace, New Delhi. While Aditi Rao Hydari and Kangana Ranaut were showstoppers for Tarun Tahiliani and Anju Modi respectively, Falguni Shane Peacock chose Kareena Kapoor Khan as a showstopper. The deep necked golden bridal dress designed by Falguni Shane Peacock was flaunted by dashing Kareena Kapoor Khan.

The lehenga had bareback with 30 kg dull golden color and full sleeves. The dress has a fabulous combination of Indo-western art. The basic concept by Falguni Shane Peacock is a delicate yet attractive bridal wear. Her couture originally includes plunging necklines, fine fabrics, comfortable silhouettes and deep backlines.
Falguni Shane Peacock chose an intricate and magnificent design in her bridal lehenga to make the occasion more special. However, the main goal is to show the slim figure of the bride in the beautiful lehenga.
Kareena Kapoor Khan looked hotter in her long brunette hair with stylish sparkling earrings and minimal makeup.
Feathered bridal wear
Light colored couture amazed the night and the audience was excited to see every new bridal wear designed by Falguni Shane Peacock. Apart from glittering lehengas, Falguni included feathered lehengas with long trains. This was, however, a total concept of couture especially in bridal wear but was appreciated by the spectators.
Falguni selected some of the darkest colors for feathered lehengas such as maroon and black which enhance every occasion. The short dress with shiny trains was also a unique idea by her specially designed for parties, reception, and engagement.
The feathered lehengas were embellished with elegant crystal beadwork and medium necklines. These artistic lehengas clearly showcased the modernized art in the bridal theme.
On the other hand, Falguni also included some of the light shades in plain lehengas such as light green, smoky grey, light pink, grey dawn and pink dusk. The lavender and purple colors in lehengas are exceptional choices though.
Something different
Contrary to the earlier bridal season, this time Falguni and Shane Peacock decided to come with some new designs opposite to those usual shiny lehengas.
The sleeves were given the striped designs which look awesome. The metallic colors of the lehengas are perfectly chosen for the special occasions with stunning angular and floral designs.
Falguni Shane Peacock revealed that the idea of bringing feathered lehengas in the show is to add glamour in any party. And so, the ideas of off shoulder necklines, feather trains and cuffs and feather hemline were used in the making of bridal wear.
Royal inspiration
When asked about the inspiration, Falguni Shane Peacock described a tale in which the Parisian queen was invited to Junagarh Palace in Rajasthan. A local carnival took place in the honor of the queen and the splendor and grandeur of the carnival were the themes which impressed Falguni.
The reason why Falguni Shane Peacock introduced some of the unusual yet beautiful bridal wears is to add beauty to each occasion.
The show was followed by a soft music which mesmerized the audience with melodious tones.

The 2nd day of India Couture Week 2018 was just a rocking one with metallic skirts, ancient style dresses, and contemporary feathered bridal wear.
