India Couture Week 2018 got a fantastic start with fashion shows by some of the best fashion designers such as Tarun Tahiliani, Anju Modi, and Amit Aggarwal.
Each day, the fashion designers unveil the beauty of their couture collection by introducing the gorgeous Bollywood actresses as showstoppers. Just like every other fashion designer, the designer duo, Shyamal & Bhumika chose pretty looking Kiara Advani as their showstopper.
Kiara Advani slays the stage with her killing looks
This time, Shyamal & Bhumika came up with an idea of creating exotic couture collection. And so, they used the superior quality fabrics in the making of lehengas such as georgette, raw silks, and matka silks.
The colors and designs completely display the exquisite work of the designers. From light shade to authentic red color of bridal wear, Shyamal & Bhumika gave a royal touch to each lehenga.
The showstopper dress was mint green in color with amazing floral designs and long trains. With short sleeves of the net and plunging necklines, the lehenga was a perfect bridal wear. Kiara finished her ravishing looks with a thick whitish green necklace and light makeup and dark pinkish lipstick.
Kiara let her shiny and lustrous hair remain open. In an interview, Kiara Advani expressed her love for all these beautiful bridal dresses and wished to have one for her special occasion.
Ancient ideas by Shyamal & Bhumika
The designer duo, Shyamal & Bhumika revealed the fact of how they got the idea of these designs. After many years of study in the history of European ancient palaces, the designers got an idea of making the bridal wear. They told in an interview that they wanted the couture collection in embroidery and the one which has a queenly and majestic appearance.
The models flaunted their beauty with the lehengas having zari, silk threads, and layered sequins. The bridal collection of Shyamal & Bhumika clearly displayed the theme of romance. Apart from that, the couture included ochres, beautiful pastel colors, and jewels tones which the audience liked.
Combination of contemporary and old style
The smart designs, powerful colors and original pattern of the designer duo unveiled the wonderful combination of modern and ancient style. The layering work, embroideries, and sequins showcased the Indian and European fashion ideas.
Shyamal & Bhumika chose the colors such as muted ivories, ochres, Enligh rose pink, mint, grey and champagne for silky lehengas which suit every occasion. They also introduced midnight blue and emerald green lehengas which made the event more exciting.
