The much-awaited news finally arrived on Saturday, 18th August 2018 about Priyanka Chopra getting engaged to Nick Jonas. After Justin Beiber and Hailey Baldwin got engaged last month, another popular American singer found his love in Bollywood actress.
The couple got engaged as per Indian rituals on Saturday, 18th August exactly after one month Nick proposed to Priyanka.
Proposal on Priyanka Chopra’s birthday
The couple had been dating from last few months. They were also spotted together many times by the media along with Joe, Nick Jonas’s brother and his fiancée and actress, Sophie Turner. They celebrated Priyanka’s birthday with a bash whereby Nick Jonas proposed to Priyanka and later introduced her to his family.
American singer-songwriter, Nick Jonas proposed to Priyanka on her 36th birthday, July 18th with a beautiful diamond ring. Prior to that, the couple had visited India to meet Priyanka Chopra’s mom and brother Siddharth for introducing Nick Jonas.
After that, Nick and Priyanka headed towards Goa along with some friends and Parineeti Chopra, Priyanka’s cousin and Bollywood actress. Later, the couple also attended Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s pre-engagement party on June 29 before going back to Los Angeles.

Even after finding her partner from the United States, Priyanka Chopra still wanted to follow Indian culture and traditions. Nick Jones arrived in Mumbai with his parents, Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr, on Thursday night.

There was a post-engagement party for Bollywood on Saturday night. Although the engagement party was attended by 200 guests, it was really one of the most popular events in the media. However, the engagement party started late by one hour instead of 9 pm.

The mother of Priyanka, Madhu Chopra was happy for her daughter’s engagement. On the other hand, the parents of American singer were too happy for welcoming a new member into their family.
Priyanka Chopra wore a sleeveless blush pink midi dress and put a dark colored lipstick which enhanced her beauty more. The actress allowed her tousled hair open. On the other hand, Nick Jonas chose a simple t-shirt and black trousers for the engagement party.
The couple shared the pictures of their post-engagement party on Instagram and the guests were all in smiles before the cameras. With some of the famous Bollywood celebrities, the party was really a fabulous one.
Parineeti Chopra commented that Nick is the perfect man for her sister. While other celebrities congratulated the duo on their engagement on Instagram, the couple is still celebrating the happiest day of their life together.

The sources revealed that Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra want to get married soon. There is no announcement of their marriage yet some of the sources stated that the marriage may take place on September 16, the birthday of American singer-songwriter.
